This year we were again a proud partner of the project Lidl’s young winemaker (Lidlov mladi vinar), organized by the company Lidl Slovenia. Goal of the project is to encourage students of viticulture and winemaking, to acquire knowledge and experience in the production and promotion of wine. The title was won by the team “Kaplja do roba” from the Biotechnical Faculty Ljubljana.

Together with Lidl Slovenia we invited students to our wine cellar, where we introduced them to the technological process of wine production in our cellar and also shared the good business practices of wine promotion. A good sign that the workshops payed off were their well prepared projects and great wines they produced. Therefore, we are extremely pleased that we were able to contribute to the knowledge of our future winemakers.

We congratulate all the participants in the project and wish them lots of courage on their future path.
