In September, Malek Zidanica again hosted the Furmint harvest, which we planted in 2014 in the vineyard with its friends, mayors from surrounding areas, business partners and some famous Slovenian people. In fact, the winemaker's initial idea for this year was, the grapes in the famous vineyard could be harvested together for the second time, but nature surpassed us this year. Because of the extraordinary weather conditions, the grapes were matured early this year, so winemakers had to accelerate the whole process and hurry up with harvesting. We then devoted the event to the end of the harvest and to Furmint which all of us were hardly expecting. At the beginning the guests enjoyed homemade delicacies prepared by the hands of rural women from Koga. Of course, there was also a welcome wine. Followed by musical greeting of Vlado Kreslin and his black guitar, followed by the official greetings of Vid Valič, accompanied by the greetings of the owner Vladimir Puklavec, his daughter Tatjana Puklavec and the current director Mitja Herga.

In charge of entertainment were Vid Valič, TV presenter and comedian, music legend Vlado Kreslin, local octer Kogovski dečki, national entertainment Ensamble Ritem and Folk group Kog.  A culinary experience with top-quality wine was provided by the renowned Gostilna Rajh from Murska Sobota, and unique seal was added by the home-made confectionery that was prepared from Aktiva kmečkih žena Kog. In the cellar of the beautiful Zidanica Malek, was Furmint wine tasting, of which the most outstanding was the recipient of the Decanter platinum medal, Furmint 2015 and Furmint arhiva 1993.
